Well, my first New Year's resolution that's come to fruition - start documenting just a bit of what we do with our lives. Today's exciting adventures have included a trip to the cinema to see Fantastic Mr Fox (lots of learning about animals, their diets & habitats as well as thievery!) and then a fab afternoon at a friend's house.
First decision - what are the kids pseudonyms to be? Full marks to anyone who gets their origin... Our children will henceforth (in this blog at least) be known as Larry, Daisy & Bets. Better resist the urge to call my dear husband Fatty or Goon so he shall be referred to as Ern.
Wow, what an achievement! Ern is at the local hostelry catching up with local chums and I should be writing my last essay while watching a film which someone ordered from the DVD rental service. Neither of us recognises the title so it's probably one of mine!
